The rifle is chambered in popular calibers like .308 Win., .30-'06 Sprg., and .300 Win. Mag., with barrel lengths of 22" or 24". It utilizes a detachable four-round magazine, Savage's familiar straight-pull bolt design, an ambidextrous bolt handle, a tang safety, and an adjustable AccuTrigger.
