Brownells announces the "Gunfighter Gauntlet," a two-gun (rifle and pistol) competition taking place at the Big Spring Shooting Complex in Searsboro, Iowa, at the end of August. The event is open to all skill levels, with a focus on welcoming new shooters. It features several divisions: "Gunfighter" (AR-15 with one optic, no bipod; traditional handguns with one optic, no muzzle device), "Armored Core" (requires wearing armor like a plate carrier, fewer firearm restrictions), "Irons Only" (iron sights only), and "They Don't Make Them Like They Used To" (pre-1946 firearms). Prizes will be awarded through a random draw, with trophies for top competitors. The entrance fee is $200. Brownells plans to release a video showcasing the course layout soon.
