This video demonstrates the disassembly of a WWII-era US Army 60mm M49 High Explosive mortar round and its associated M52 point-detonating fuze assembly. The process includes removing the inert round from its fiber tube, unscrewing the fuze using a specialized wrench, and then carefully taking apart the fuze. It also shows the removal of the M2 fin assembly from the mortar body, followed by the separation of the inert M32 primer assembly and the inert M5 ignition cartridge. Finally, the video opens an original box of 25 Winchester M4 ignition cartridges and inserts one into the fin assembly.
