H&K's Hydrocephalic P7M10 in .40 S&W
This video examines the Heckler & Koch P7M10, a variant of the P7 pistol chambered in .40 S&W. Introduced in 1991, the M10 featured a heavier slide and frame to manage the recoil of the .40 caliber cartridge, based on the P7M13 frame. The increased mass, however, negatively impacted its handling and aesthetics, hindering its appeal to law enforcement agencies. Production ceased in 1994 due to the Assault Weapons Ban, which affected the P7M13, the platform's basis. The P7M10 is now a scarce and collectible firearm due to its limited production run.
