Shooting the Sjogren Inertial Shotgun
This video showcases the shooting of the rare Sjogren Inertial Shotgun, an internally-locked semi-automatic developed by a Swedish inventor and produced in Copenhagen before World War I. Although the creator ran out of time to film the history and disassembly, the shooting footage is presented using iPhone slow-motion. The Sjogren is described as a "very unusual system" and a "quite pleasant shotgun to shoot, especially for being chambered for 12ga shells." A rifle variation was tested by militaries but not produced. The video briefly contrasts the Sjogren's action with a Walther toggle-locked shotgun tested on the same day.
