Steyr StG 77, aka the AUG
This video features a Steyr StG 77, commonly known as the AUG. Although not a standard Austrian military issue, it's a near-identical commemorative rifle rebuilt with military parts and a registered dealer sample machine gun, allowing for demonstration of its full-auto capability. The AUG, developed in the 1970s, was a pioneering bullpup rifle incorporating advanced features like extensive polymer use, a modular barrel, and an integrated optical sight. Its operating mechanism is derived from the Armalite AR-18. The rifle was provided by Bear Arms in Scottsdale, AZ.
