FAL in the North: The Canadian C1A1
This video delves into the history and specifics of the Canadian C1A1 rifle, a variant of the FN FAL. It details Canada's early adoption of the FAL, their role in adapting the design to the 1st-angle inch pattern for Commonwealth use, and the development of both C1 rifle and C2 LMG patterns. The focus is on a toolroom prototype of the C1, highlighting its journey through minor modifications to the C1A1 variant before its eventual replacement by the C7. Special thanks are given to Paul Wassill for providing the prototype.
